Tripura Bamboo Mission – IL & FS CDI is participating in the UTTAR POORVA UTSAV at New Delhi from 27th January to 9th February 2009

Tripura Bamboo Mission participated in the “Purva Uttar Utsav” at Dilli Haat, New Delhi organized by Crafts Council of India from 27th Jan to 9th Feb 2009. Eight artisans from different society/cluster & one cluster coordinator participated in the event. Artisans also participated in the workshop on ‘ Skill development of artisans” organized by Craft Council of India on 2nd to 4th February 2009 for the artisans from North Eastern States of India. Uttar Purva Utsav was successfully attended by all the artisans. There is a huge potential of new product developed at various clusters by Tripura Bamboo Mission- IL & FS CDI. Positive responses from buyers were received and new order for split bamboo mat was received. The participation in “Purva Uttar Utsav” was an enriching experience for artisans and TBM staff.
